How It All Began...

Some are born with a silver spoon in their mouth. I was born with a silver ladle in mine, destined to cook my way through life. It all started with a love of food and art. Food then became art and the artistry associated with cuisine. Music playing in the background, the muse was stirred by a now, more useful, wooden spoon. Informed of a sophisticated palate early in life, what I tasted, what I heard in the music, was translated to the palate, poetry then plate. What does it take to be a chef? Michelangelo said, “I am still learning”. However I do know that which distinguishes a good cook from a chef is not only the hours of professional training, but more importantly, the ability to consistently cook and taste one’s way to a deliciously inspiring culinary result
